Cryogenic Valve Selection Guide
Cryogenic valve selection is driven by minimum metal temperature, pressure, material toughness, stem sealing, bonnet extension, cavity-pressure behavior and leakage requirements.
Extended bonnets keep packing and operating components away from the coldest zone, while low-temperature materials and seals must remain suitable through cooldown and thermal cycling.
The inquiry should define minimum and normal temperature, fluid, test requirements, installation orientation, bonnet-extension expectations, cleaning and any LNG or oxygen-service controls.
