Hastelloy C276 Valves Guide

Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy selected for aggressive chemical and corrosion conditions where common stainless steels may not provide adequate resistance.

Valve procurement needs the exact pressure-boundary product form, trim compatibility, process chemistry, temperature, fabrication route and any PMI or material-verification requirement.

Do not assume universal acid resistance; provide concentration, temperature, contaminants and operating conditions so C276 suitability can be evaluated against the actual process.
