Monel 400 Valves Guide
Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy used in selected marine and chemical services because of its corrosion behavior in specific environments.
Valve selection should consider fluid chemistry, temperature, velocity, galvanic compatibility, stem and trim materials, seat system and the required material product form.
Where Monel 400 is specified, the RFQ should identify the corrosive medium and design conditions so the material is not applied outside the service window intended by the project.
