Pressure Seal Valve Guide

Pressure-seal bonnet construction uses internal pressure to increase sealing load at the bonnet joint, making it useful in high-pressure and high-temperature gate, globe and check valve service.

The design changes bonnet maintenance, gasket or seal-ring geometry, bolting arrangement and assembly procedure compared with a conventional bolted bonnet.

Specify pressure class, temperature, body material, end connection, trim, hardfacing, operation, NDE and power-plant or steam requirements when purchasing pressure-seal valves.
