Triple Offset Butterfly Valve Guide
Triple-offset butterfly valves use geometric offsets to reduce rubbing between the sealing surfaces during most of the disc travel and achieve metal-seated shutoff in demanding service.
Disc-seat geometry, laminate or solid sealing system, pressure direction, body style, torque, material and temperature all affect the final configuration.
The purchaser should state bidirectional or preferred-direction shutoff, leakage requirement, body/trim materials, class, ends, temperature and actuator requirements before selection.
